We have Meet and Greet opportunities throughout the North American 2018 Savage tour available on the Numan Store. For those of you interested in meeting Gary before the show and watching the sound check you can find all the details of what the Meet and Greets have to offer here.
The second North American Savage Tour will start on Sep 4th. We’ll be playing 27 shows in total, many of them in places we weren’t able to get to on the first North American Savage tour in 2017. This flyer lists 26 of those shows but there is one festival date still to be added as soon as they make their own official announcement about the line up. The support for this tour will be the excellent Nightmare Air. For the full list of dates, cities and venues please visit the Tours page.
A wide range of Savage merchandise has now been added to the Gary Numan Online Store. We have a variety of new t-shirts, hoody’s and the Savage Neck Tube.
Due to the incredible demand for tickets for the orchestral shows in November we have added another London show. This extra show will actually take place the day before the previous London show at the Royal Albert Hall so will be on November 18th at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. Ticket info can be found on the Tours Page.
Amazed to be able to say that the London and Manchester orchestra shows have Sold Out already. I can barely believe it. Thank you all so much. It’s going to be an amazing experience. Tickets for the other shows here except for Glasgow here.
The ticket links on the Tours page for the six orchestral shows in November have now been updated to link to the General Release tickets. These links will go live at 10am UK time on April 6th.
I’m so happy to be able to announce a string of UK dates in November 2018 with The Skaparis Orchestra, including a date at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Pre-sale tickets are available via Gigs & Tours this Thursday 5th April at 10am. The full tour will go on sale this Friday 6th April. See ticket links on the Tours page.
The regular band will be joined by The Skaparis Orchestra for 6 exclusive shows taking place in Cardiff, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, London and Glasgow. The shows will feature songs drawn not only from the highly successful ‘Savage’ album, but also key songs from my back catalogue.
I have often felt that my music has had, at times, a filmic quality but, with The Skaparis Orchestra joining us for these six shows, that mix of hard electronic and soaring cinematic atmosphere will finally come fully to life. I can’t tell you how pleased I am to this come together.
In addition I will be showcasing the biggest and most extravagant light show that I’ve taken on the road for over three decades, designed specifically for these special orchestral performances. As an example, the video wall on the recent UK/Euro tour was around 8′ high. The orchestral shows will have a video wall nearer 20′ high, we’ll also have lasers and much, much more besides. I am genuinely excited about all of this.
We are now playing at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on July 9th and at the Lokerse Festival in Lokeren, Belgium on August 11th. Still adding shows in 2018 so check back here or the Gary Numan social media pages for more Tour news.
We’re playing at two festivals so far in 2018. The first is the Control Fest in Mexico City, Mexico on April 28. The second is the Bluedot Festival at the Jodrell Bank Observatory on July 21 in Cheshire, UK.
Support band for the latest Savage UK/Europe tour in March will be Dave Dupuis’s most excellent trio, Nightmare Air. Dave Dupuis you will know as my Tour Manager and Front Of House sound engineer. Those of you that have come as VIP’s to the Rehearsals and to the tour Meet and Greets will know him even better.
