Small world. In Jan ‘82 I was in a plane crash. An hour after we ploughed into the ground, shocked & bewildered (to say the least), I was being interviewed on live TV about the crash. Who should be sitting next to me today at LAX than the man who did that interview, Lee Peck. Small world indeed.

Thanks to Cruel World for having us play not just

Thanks to Cruel World for having us play not just once, but twice this weekend. That was unexpected, but fun. In a few hours we fly to London, and on it goes.

Great news (for me anyway). Siouxsie and Iggy Pop

Great news (for me anyway). Siouxsie and Iggy Pop will play tonight (Sunday) at the rearranged Cruel World festival, and I’ve been asked to play again as well. I do appreciate that 99.9% (probably 100% to be honest) of people going will be there for Siouxsie and Iggy (including my entire family) but honored to be asked to play again just the same. Doors open at 5pm, we’re on at 6, Iggy at 7, Siouxsie at 8:20. Fingers crossed it all happens this time.

This morning our bus broke down on the way to the Cruel World festival so we were about 4 hours late arriving. Our set went incredibly well though, amazing crowd, got to see some great bands and more than a few old friends. But, the festival was cut short (due to lightning apparently) and everyone evacuated. Sadly Siouxsie was not allowed to play. It was a somewhat bizarre and disappointing end to what had been a really good day. Not sure what the end result will be. Thank you to everyone that came to watch us play today. We had the best time.
