As part of the Pioneers Of British Electronic Music events Gary is playing a show at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre on July 27, 2017. Joining Gary will be his long time hero John Foxx and The Maths. John Foxx, through his early work with Ultravox, played a pivotal role in Gary’s early progress in electronic music and has been musical of hero of Gary’s ever since.

The new Gary Numan album, entitled Savage, is due for release in August through the BMG label. Gary is once again working with Ade Fenton as producer. For those of you interested in following the progress of the album more intimately you can subscribe to Gary’s Pledge Music campaign which gives you unique, inside access to progress at every level, via text updates, audio updates and video updates and the chance to hear new music from early piano demo’s, through early production and guide vocals to the fully produced but pre mixed versions prior to the mastered versions that will be on the finished album.
Song titles confirmed so far are: ‘Bed Of Thorns’, ‘I Heard A Voice’, ‘Mercy’, ‘If I Said’ and ‘My name Is Ruin’ but there is still a great deal of work to do.
The main album recording is due to be completed in April, with the extra tracks required for giveaways and potential single B-Sides are due to be finished in May, with mixing and mastering also taking place in May.
The sleeve design and photography will, again, be taking place in May at some point.

On July 30th Gary will be playing at the Standon Calling Festival in Hertfordshire, UK, as part of a four day event that includes Orbital, Clean Bandit, British Sea Power, Laura Mvula and others. Many more shows are to be announced in the coming weeks in support of the new Savage album, the long awaited follow up to 2013’s Splinter, which is due for release in August through the mighty BMG label.
Recorded in November 2014 this sold out show, at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo venue in London, was the final event in the highly successful Splinter album campaign.
For Gary Numan it was a long awaited return to a venue that means more to him than any other. Gary was born in Hammersmith, West London, and the Apollo was effectively his local major venue throughout his youth, and the venue that symbolized the pinnacle of his musical ambition.
This stunning two hour concert features a 24 song list of fan favourite album tracks and chart singles.
